Fan Pages

Fan pages for music, run openly and at scale

A fan page is an account built around an artist, a scene or a mood that posts edits set to the music. Artist teams run them as a normal part of a release. Omniscape makes the posts: memes, slideshows and quote clips from your own photos, for several accounts from one workspace.

What a fan page is

A fan page is a social account that posts about an artist without being the artist’s own account. It might be built around one artist, a genre, a city’s scene or a mood like late-night driving. It posts short edits, memes and clips, almost always set to a song.

Some fan pages are run by fans. Others are run by the people who work on the music: the label, the manager or an agency. That is fine when it is done in the open, and the rest of this page is about doing it that way.

Why teams run them

  • More than one way in

Each account builds its own audience. A few pages with different angles give a song more than one way into people’s feeds.

  • A place to test hooks

Try a lyric, a caption or a format on a fan page first. Keep what works for the artist’s main account.

  • A clean main account

The artist’s own account can stay personal and on-brand while the fan pages carry the volume of memes and edits.

  • Steady posting

A release asks for a steady stream of posts. Fan pages spread that load so no single account has to carry it.

How to run fan pages honestly

  • Say it is a fan page. Put it in the bio. Never pose as the artist.
  • Use the artist’s own photos and sound. Post assets your team has the rights to, and use the official sound so people can find the song.
  • Keep the artist informed. They should know which pages exist and what they post. Nothing on a fan page should surprise them.
  • Follow each platform’s rules. TikTok and Instagram publish community guidelines on impersonation and spam. Read them before you start.

What fan pages post

  • Photo memes

A template with a caption, filled with your photo. Fan pages run on these, and they render in under a minute.

  • Video memes

The same idea with a clip. Drop in a short video, pick a template, and the caption is burned on.

  • Slideshows

A few photos and one line, cut into a sliding video. In Omniscape this is a Slideshow Render.

  • Quote clips

One photo, one lyric, a slow cinematic move. See aesthetic quote videos.

How it works in Omniscape

  1. Make a folder per account.

Each Page Folder holds one social account’s content. File any render into it to keep that account’s posts together.

  2. Pick a template.

Open the template library, choose a meme, and drop in a photo or clip from your Media Library.

  3. Write the caption.

Edit the text to fit the account. If that text has already gone out on the folder, the form tells you before you render.

  4. Render and post.

Memes render in under a minute. Download the post, upload it to the account, and add the sound.

Every render also lands in All Content, so one person can see what every account has made. The accounts share one Quote Vault and one Media Library, which is what keeps five pages from needing five separate piles of assets. The homepage shows the core flow and a real Fan Page render.

If you run fan pages for several clients, read Omniscape for music marketing agencies or Omniscape for record labels, and see what a branded workspace looks like. Plans are on the pricing section of the homepage.

Questions

Are fan pages allowed?

Fan accounts are a normal part of TikTok and Instagram. What the platforms forbid is impersonation and spam, so a fan page should say what it is in its bio, never pretend to be the artist, and post content it has the rights to. Read each platform’s community guidelines before you start.

Do we need the artist’s permission?

If you work for the artist, their label or their management, run fan pages with the artist’s knowledge. Use their official photos and sound, and tell them which pages exist. It avoids surprises when a post takes off.

How many accounts should we run?

As many as your team can keep distinct and post to often. Start with two or three, each with a clear angle, and add more once they have a rhythm. In Omniscape each account gets its own Page Folder, so adding one takes seconds.

What should we post on day one?

A handful of posts across two or three formats: a couple of photo memes, a slideshow and a quote clip. Use the artist’s strongest lyric and best photos. Then see which format holds attention and make more of that.

How do we keep the accounts from looking identical?

Give each one its own angle and its own look. Use different page themes from the Media Library, different templates and different lines. Omniscape also warns you when a caption has already been used on an account’s folder, which stops one page from repeating itself.

Is there a watermark?

On the free plan every render carries a small Made with omniscape.io badge. Paid plans render without it.
